As a licensed psychotherapist and trauma specialist, I’m passionate about helping others heal. But at my core, I’m also a writer. Writing has always been one of my great loves.
When I began my full-time practice in the Spring of 2015, I knew I wanted to write and publish high-quality mental health essays. My goal has always been to support people on their relational trauma recovery journeys, especially those who may never have the chance to work with me directly or who live in areas without access to therapists.
Today, this blog—a little compassionate corner of the internet—receives over 30,000 monthly visitors. It features more than 200 essays and articles on various mental health topics, including relational trauma recovery, managing anxiety and depression, parenting with a trauma history, forming healthy relationships, and navigating adulthood.
Consider this blog and my archive of writing your digital library—a comforting, soft landing place where you can return for information, inspiration, and support on your relational trauma recovery journey.
I truly hope my writing provides the comfort and guidance you need, no matter where you are or what you’re going through.
This journey of relational trauma recovery may feel long and hard at times, but we’re on it together.
Warmly,
