You’ve read the essay. The framework landed. Something in you recognized it.
You know the two minutes in the car before you go inside. You know the 3 AM ceiling. You know the gap between the life that looks impressive from the outside and what it actually feels like to be inside it.
And you know, somewhere in the back of your mind, that the essay—as good as it was—only scratched the surface.
The essay introduced the framework. This masterclass is where you understand it fully, at a clinical level, in a way that actually changes what you’re able to do about it.
The repair is possible. It starts with understanding the full architecture.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?
This masterclass is for you if…
You’ve read The House That Looks Fine From the Street and felt the framework land—and you want to understand the full clinical architecture, not just the overview.
You know you have foundation cracks but you’ve been gatekeeping yourself out of this work because your history wasn’t “bad enough.”
You’ve tried therapy, self-help, and insight—and you’re frustrated that understanding the pattern hasn’t changed the pattern. You want to know why, and what actually does.
You’re a driven, ambitious woman whose nervous system hasn’t gotten the memo that you’re safe now.
You’re ready for something more rigorous than a workshop and more accessible than a full clinical program.
If you’re reading this wondering whether you’re ready—you are.
EVERYTHING YOU GET
What you’ll leave with
The full House of Life framework at a clinical level—the developmental science of how foundation cracks form, not just the metaphor.
A clear understanding of the four types of relational trauma—commission, omission, enmeshment, and loss—and which ones you’re carrying.
Attachment theory applied to your specific rooms—why the same blueprint runs in your work room and your partnership room and your money room, and what to do about it.
Polyvagal theory in plain language—why your nervous system does what it does in the moments that matter most.
The IFS lens—the Managers, Firefighters, and Exiles: what they are, what they’re protecting, and how to approach them.
The neuroscience of repair—why insight alone doesn’t change the wiring, what the window of tolerance is, and what the three modalities that actually reach the implicit layer require.
Five workbook exercises you’ll do during the session itself, plus your specific starting point for the repair work.
Fifty practices in the companion workbook to take you through the full framework in your specific rooms, at your own pace.
LET’S BE CLEAR
What this is NOT
It’s not a motivational talk.
There’s nothing here about mindset shifts or choosing differently or deciding you deserve better.
It’s not a trauma processing session.
This is therapeutic education—rigorous, clinical, grounded—designed to give you the framework and the beginning of the repair path. Not to do the deep processing work in 90 minutes with 200 people.
It’s not gentle.
It will meet you with warmth. It will also tell you the truth.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Hear from those who’ve done the work
“Annie has a way of being in the world that is beautifully intuitive, warm, and fierce in equal measure. She gets right to the heart of an issue with a kindness that few people embody. The work changed not just how I lead—it changed how I live.”
— J.K., Executive Coaching Client
“I’d built and sold a company. I’d done years of therapy. I thought I’d done the work. Annie helped me understand there was a layer I’d never touched. The EMDR cracked something open that talk therapy never reached.”
— J.B., Founder & CEO, Bay Area
“Working with Annie completely changed the way I relate to myself. I came in running on fumes. For the first time in my adult life, I feel genuinely okay—not performing okay.”
— L.K., Tech Executive, Silicon Valley
MEET YOUR GUIDE
Annie Wright is a licensed trauma therapist, EMDR-certified relational trauma specialist, founder and successfully exited CEO of a multimillion-dollar multi-state mental health company, and W.W. Norton author. She holds two degrees from Brown University, a master’s in Counseling Psychology, and 15,000+ clinical hours.
She came from a severe relational trauma background. She managed it with workaholism and an eating disorder. She got herself to Brown on a full scholarship, served in the Peace Corps, spent four years at Esalen doing the deep healing work her childhood required, founded and sold a multi-state therapy practice, and has done two intensive rounds of her own repair work—EMDR, IFS, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
The ambition is still here. It just no longer runs on fear. The House of Life framework is what fifteen years of clinical practice and lived experience looks like when it’s distilled into something teachable.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Frequently Asked Questions
I’m not sure my history is “bad enough” for this content.
This is the most common thing I hear. The gatekeeping is part of the pattern. This masterclass specifically addresses why the four types of relational trauma—including omission, which leaves no obvious marks—produce the same effects regardless of how dramatic they were. If the essay landed, this content is for you.
I’m already in therapy. Is this redundant?
No. This is therapeutic education that can deepen and accelerate your existing therapeutic work. Many women bring the framework to their therapists. The workbook is designed to be used in conjunction with therapy.
I can’t attend live. Is there a replay?
Yes. The replay is available immediately after the session and remains accessible permanently once you’ve registered.
Will this be overwhelming or destabilizing?
The masterclass is designed to open doors gradually, not push you through them. The practices are paced for the nervous system of a driven woman who may be new to this territory. If something significant comes up, the workbook contains grounding practices and support resources.
Is this therapy?
No. This is therapeutic education. It is not a substitute for individual therapy. If you need direct therapeutic support, contact information for working directly with Annie is available at anniewright.com.
The framework is solid. The repair is possible.
It starts with understanding the full architecture.
