You’ve built a life that looks solid on the outside. But inside, it still feels precarious.
Strong and Stable is a weekly, trauma-informed newsletter for women who have achieved more than they ever imagined—and yet still feel the quiet ache of internal instability. It’s a space for those who’ve used excellence, caregiving, over-functioning, or overworking as a kind of scaffolding—and are ready to explore what a more solid foundation might feel like.
Created by Annie Wright, LMFT—a licensed psychotherapist, writer, and founder of a multimillion-dollar trauma therapy center with a successful exit—Strong and Stable brings together over 15,000 clinical hours, lived experience of relational trauma recovery, and a decade of foundation-building in real time.
Each week, subscribers receive:
• A long-form essay that names the invisible patterns shaping your experience
• A guided workbook offering early-stage “HOW” practices for emotional scaffolding and regulation
• A personal letter that models integration—with photos, stories, and real-time reflection
• A grounded Q&A answering questions too nuanced for Google, too complex for a checklist
This is not productivity coaching. It’s not a hack. It’s a co-regulating container for nervous system-informed reflection and gentle repair from the ground up. Sustainable. Evidence based. Expert. Trustworthy.
This is the “early HOW” tier—a scaffolded system for practicing foundation work without the pressure to be fully healed or perfect.

Annie Wright, LMFT is a licensed psychotherapist, writer, and trauma-informed thought leader who helps high-achieving women heal the foundational patterns that success once helped conceal.
She grew up in a complex, destabilizing environment shaped by relational trauma—and went on to become the first in her family to attend college, earning dual degrees from Brown University. After serving in the Peace Corps and training at the Esalen Institute, Annie built and scaled a multimillion-dollar trauma therapy center, Evergreen Counseling, with 24 staff members serving over 450 clients per week. She sold and successfully exited that business in 2025.
Now, through Strong and Stable, she offers a slower, more spacious way of doing foundation work—drawing on over 15,000 hours of clinical experience and the hard-won lessons of building a life from the basement up.
Her work has been featured in Forbes, Business Insider, The Huffington Post, Psychology Today, and more. Her forthcoming book, Decade of Decisions (W.W. Norton), explores what it means to build a foundation strong enough to hold everything you want to create.
