ONLINE THERAPY IN UTAH
Utah Online Therapy for driven women
Utah carries a particular kind of pressure. The woman who has always been the capable one, the strong one, the one everyone counts on. The achievement that quietly became a form of belonging. The impressive résumé built alongside the private exhaustion no one around you sees. If you’re a founder in Silicon Slopes, an executive in downtown Salt Lake, a physician at Intermountain or the University of Utah, an attorney working across the Wasatch Front, or a woman in Park City whose life at 7,000 feet looks like the picture and feels like something else entirely, this work is for you. Annie offers relational trauma therapy and EMDR via secure telehealth to women throughout Utah.

How Telehealth Therapy Works
All sessions take place via secure, HIPAA-compliant video, from your home, your office, or wherever you have privacy. There’s no commute, no waiting room, and no time lost in transit. Most of Annie’s clients are busy professionals who appreciate the efficiency and intimacy of online sessions.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes, scheduled weekly. Annie also offers EMDR intensives for clients who want to do deeper work in a concentrated timeframe. Utah clients working across Mountain Time appreciate early-morning slots that don’t require rearranging a full workday.

A NOTE FOR THE UTAH WOMAN READING THIS
If part of your work right now is untangling who you were shaped to be from who you actually are.
Some of the women Annie works with in Utah grew up in communities where being capable, self-sufficient, and not-the-one-who-needs-help wasn’t a personality trait. It was how you earned belonging. Being fine was the only acceptable answer. Service to others was the currency. Doubt was private, if it existed at all.
If part of what you’re carrying now is the slow, careful, sometimes lonely work of renegotiating what you were told about strength, service, and self, that work is welcome here. Annie’s approach is not to diagnose your history or your community. It’s to help you understand the pattern beneath the pattern, so you can decide, from a place of steadiness rather than reactivity, what stays and what goes.
You don’t have to explain a specific culture, community, or context for this work to reach you. She’s already met the pattern many times.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is online therapy effective for trauma treatment?
Yes. Research consistently supports the effectiveness of telehealth therapy for trauma, including EMDR. Many of Annie’s clients report that the comfort and privacy of their own space actually deepens the therapeutic work.
Can I do therapy with Annie if I live in Utah?
Yes. Annie holds an active LMFT license in Utah (#14300323-3902), issued by the Utah Department of Commerce, Division of Professional Licensing, and is authorized to provide telehealth therapy to residents anywhere in the state. All you need is a private space and a reliable internet connection.
Do you work with women in Silicon Slopes, Salt Lake City, and Park City specifically?
Yes. Annie’s Utah clientele includes founders and executives across Silicon Slopes (Lehi, Draper, Provo), physicians and attorneys in Salt Lake City, and women in Park City and Deer Valley who have relocated for the lifestyle and are quietly renegotiating what they actually want from their lives. The work is calibrated to women whose external lives look enviable and whose internal lives carry weight no one around them sees.
What if I’ve done a lot of therapy before and none of it reached the root?
This is the most common reason driven women reach out. Traditional therapy often stays at the level of coping strategies. Annie’s work goes to the level where patterns are actually stored, integrating EMDR, IFS parts work, and somatic approaches to reach material that talk-only therapy cannot.
What does a typical session look like?
Sessions are 50 minutes, held weekly via secure video. Annie integrates EMDR, IFS parts work, and somatic approaches, tailored to what each client needs. The work is relational, not prescriptive. You won’t be given worksheets or generic coping skills.
How do I know if therapy with Annie is the right fit?
The best way to find out is through a complimentary consultation. Annie reads every inquiry personally. Reach out here to start the conversation.
Do you accept insurance?
Annie is an out-of-network provider. Many clients with PPO plans receive partial reimbursement through their insurance. Annie’s team can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurer.
Ready to explore working together?
Annie reads every inquiry. No pressure, no sales pitch, just an honest conversation about whether this is the right fit.
