How Fixing the Foundations™ Works
Fixing the Foundations operates as the structural backbone of Annie’s clinical work. It carries the metaphorical architecture of the proverbial house of life: foundation, framing, upper floors, and the structural inequities (terra firma) that the whole house rests on.
- Assessment. naming the structural cracks in the foundation. Where exactly is the proverbial house of life leaning.
- Stabilization. the nervous-system regulation work. Without stabilization, deeper foundation work re-injures.
- Foundation repair. the work on family of origin, attachment, and internalized roles. This is the proper home of the trauma-informed methods.
- Structural rebuilding. new patterns, new criteria, new agreements with the self and with partnership.
- Integration. the new foundation becomes the default. The work generalizes outside of session.
Who Fixing the Foundations™ Serves
driven women working with the proverbial house of life. Specifically, leaders, physicians, entrepreneurs, executives, and the women who have built impressive external lives but feel a heaviness internally.
