Longer bio

Annie Wright, LMFT, is a licensed psychotherapist, EMDRIA-certified EMDR therapist, executive coach, author and speaker. She specializes in relational trauma: the lasting effects of harmful experiences in close relationships. Her work brings together more than 15,000 clinical hours, her own relational trauma recovery and the experience of founding, scaling and selling a multimillion-dollar, multi-state mental health company. Annie earned two B.A.s from Brown University and a master’s in counseling psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She spent nearly four years living, working, apprenticing and studying at the Esalen Institute. She has a forthcoming book with W. W. Norton & Company. Her writing and educational presentations explore ambition and compulsive achievement, family estrangement, entrepreneurship, identity, wealth and the patterns that follow people into adult life. Speaking and coaching are non-clinical services. Therapy is provided separately, with its own clinical and location requirements.
